Graphics tablets usually have a couple of programmable buttons, but concept artist Wataru Kami wanted to have a more intuitive way of toggling between the Brush and Eraser tools in Photoshop as well as adjust the active tool’s tip. So he came up with BrushKnob.
BrushKnob is a USB plug-and-play device that mimics just four keyboard keys: [ and ] are mapped to the knob to adjust the size of the Brush or Eraser tool’s tip, while the keys ‘B’ and ‘E’ are mapped on the small button for toggling between the two tools. That means it will work on practically any application, as long as you find those keys relevant.
Pledge at least $26 (USD) on Indiegogo to receive a BrushKnob as a reward. You can check out the device’s hardware schematic and firmware on Wataru’s GitHub page.
